Michael Vincent Manalo

The Philippine artist Michael Vincent Manalo digitally manipulates works of photography to create images of surreal and pseudo-realistic landscapes. In representing his subjects through a mix of created and realistic images, he plays with the expectations of the viewer and raises questions about the role that human emotions play in memory. His work has been exhibited throughout the US, Germany, Italy and Poland and in various international magazines. He currently lives and works in the Philippines.
