Masaya Hashimoto

After finishing school, Masaya worked for several years as an assistant hairdresser in Tokyo before travelling extensively through Asia, Africa, Europe, and Central America. His encounter with the water buffalo horn inspired him to produce a variety of pieces based around the concept of the autonomous aesthetic object. His work has been exhibited in London, Antwerp, and Japan.
