Natalia Ra was born in Russia but has spent the last ten years in Berlin, where she works as a freelance visual artist in different fields. Here, she has designed showroom interiors for well known restaurants, leading corporations (e.g. Thyssen Krupp) as well as for exhibitions of her own work. Ra’s style is abstract and surrealistic. Her most recent important exhibitions took place at Galerie LI SHALIMA Berlin, the INFINITI ZENTRUM BERLIN, and FELLINI Gallery.
“My recent series of work deals with ‘connections’ - a theme which is very close to my heart. The pieces presented visualize this theme in a modern and organic way. The conviction that “everything in life is connected in every sense” constitutes the origin of my creative inspiration and interpretation. Through my work, I want to tell a harmonic and consistent story about this very connection that represents the interplay of events. I want to take the beholder with me on a thrilling trip, told from different perspectives.”
